Anchor Articles from Practical Sailor

Which anchors work best under which conditions and why? Of all the many questions received at Practical Sailor, none are as complicated or potentially controversial as anchoring. It is a topic that, in the past, has often generated more fiction than fact.

One of our ongoing missions here has been to review anchors and many other products so that we can make unbiased recommendations (we accept no advertising) to our readers. We’re pleased to be able to share some of our efforts with BoatU.S. Seaworthy readers.
