British Seagull Parts
A reader named Jon Amy, of West Lafayette, Indiana, asked where to get parts for a British Seagull outboard engine. We published in the December 1996 issue two US sources. When we checked the sources’ telephone numbers, one of them was still active. It is Sailorman, 350 East State Road 84, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316; 800/523-0772.

We also checked a current copy of a British magazine called Practical Boat Owner (no tie to us) and found two advertisements in their classified section.

One read:

“BRITISH SEAGULL. New Seagulls carriage free UK. New and used spares. Parts exchange. Access/Visa. Adviceline. SM Spares. 0860- 700053. E-Mail smspares@mail. zynet.co.uk.”

The other states:

“DISCOUNT OUTBOARDS! Mercury, Yamaha, Evinrude, Seagull. Good stocks. Best prices. PX Welcome. Mail Order Spares. Ron Hale Marine (Portsmouth) Tel: 01705 732985.”

Northeast Ericson Owners
The Northeast Ericson Owners Association is searching for Ericson owners from Maine to Virginia. The group sponsors an annual regatta and publishes a quarterly newsletter. The newsletter contains news on boat improvement stories, maintenance, the regatta and other information of interest to Ericson owners.

To be added to the mailing list, Ericson owners should send their name, address and boat year, length and name to: Northeast Ericson News, 18 White Birch Ct., Shelton, CT 06484, or send an e-mail to the organizers at jlennox@compuserve.com.

Columbia Owners Group
Persons who own a Columbia Yacht are invited to join an informal owners group. For a free copy of the first issue of the group’s newsletter, you can e-mail a snail mail address to emkay@sinosa.com, or write C-Nuz, PO Box 68, Hereford, AZ 85615.

Alberg 35 User Group on Web
Owners of the Alberg 35, built by Pearson Yachts during the 1960s, can share information with other owners on the World Wide Web at http://www.pce.net/alley/Alberg35.html. Or you can e-mail the coordinator, Thomas Alley, at alley@pce.net.
