British Seagull Parts
A reader named Jon Amy, of West Lafayette, Indiana, asked where to get parts for a British Seagull outboard engine. We published in the December 1996 issue two US sources. When we checked the sources telephone numbers, one of them was still active. It is Sailorman, 350 East State Road 84, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316; 800/523-0772.

We also checked a current copy of a British magazine called Practical Boat Owner (no tie to us) and found two advertisements in their classified section.

One read:

BRITISH SEAGULL. New Seagulls carriage free UK. New and used spares. Parts exchange. Access/Visa. Adviceline. SM Spares. 0860- 700053. E-Mail smspares@mail. zynet.co.uk.

The other states:

DISCOUNT OUTBOARDS! Mercury, Yamaha, Evinrude, Seagull. Good stocks. Best prices. PX Welcome. Mail Order Spares. Ron Hale Marine (Portsmouth) Tel: 01705 732985.
