Where Credit is Due: Promariner Steps Up with Inverter Fix

Promariner Steps Up with Inverter Fix

I just wanted to take a moment to pat ProMariner on the back for superb customer service. We appreciated our ProMariner True Sine 1500 for about 6 months when it apparently overheated in our warm engine room. The failure resulted in some melted fuses and burned traces. We were able to repair the unit at sea. When querying PM’s support team about the problem, they insisted on replacing the unit. No hassle, no argument, even though the warm engine room contributed to the melt-down. This customer service is rare in our experience. My hat is off to team ProMariner.

Attwood solves shower pump woes

While winterizing my boat’s Attwood shower sump pump, I broke a tab off of the lid. I called Attwood and spoke with Dave Stevens at customer service, who sent me a replacement lid, no questions asked. Impressive service from a company that makes great products.

Weems and Plath Fixes Old Binoculars

I had a pair of 10-plus years old “Navy One” binoculars. They were in great shape but the dial adjustment on one of the eyepieces would not bring that side of the optics into focus. After finding out that the current service provider for the binoculars is Weems and Plath, I sent them in assuming I might get a “we don’t fix those anymore” comment. I was pleasantly surprised to have Weems and Plath fix them in just a few days, and not charge me. All it cost was the shipping expenses to get them there. I wish more marine equipment providers were as easy to deal with. They’ve earned my business going forward.
