I am a mother of 4 adventurous boys and wife to the patient and wonderful Richie. Together we co-skipper our trusty ketch Moon River, navigating family life on the ocean and creating unforgettable family memories. In the real world I was a Civil Engineer, and I am currently trying to balance some professional work with surviving the challenge that is homeschooling four children of different ages, interests and opinions. I am an avid lover of the outdoors, I find joy in sailing, skiing, diving and surfing and I love introducing it all to the boys. In fact, it could be said that the First is a racing boat that contains a cruising interior. The architect is Jean Berret, a Frenchman noted for his cruising and racing designs (he designed the 1985 Admiral's Cup winner, Phoenix, a Beneteau one-tonner).
