Steiner Stands By its Binos

0

I recently had an experience with the service department at Steiner Optics that deserves mention in your Where Credit is Due, feature.

Thirty plus years ago I purchased a pair of Steiner Commander binoculars with compass and have been very happy with the quality, reliability, and ruggedness of this product. This past sailing season one lens would fog up under high humidity conditions and also the compass dampening was lost. Nevertheless they remained usable enough that I continued to use them until the end of the sailing season after which they where returned to Steiner for service.

Less than two weeks later I received back a brand new pair in the latest improved version/model complete with all the accessories at no charge!

After the plus decades of ownership I would like to thank you Steiner for teaching me what a Lifetime Warranty truly means.
