While more powerful electric outboards like the ePropulsion Spirit 2 and Momentum U2 are expanding the options for dinghies and small sailboats, gas models still have the edge on price and range.

Electric outboards have steadily gained sales in the market to power light dinghies and small sailboats. What has stopped them from gaining even more market share has been the lack of power compared to gas models, but that might be changing.
